Obituary for Russell Francis Malinski
Russell Francis Malinisk passed away at Parkland Place Carehome in Melfort, SK on November 9, 2019 after a brief illness.
Russell was born June 15, 1939 at Humboldt Hospital, the oldest of three children, to Francis and Louise (nee Baron) Malinski.
Russell attended school in St. Brieux until the 8th grade. He was later employed in various occupations including farming, heavy equipment operating and agricultural manufacturing.
Russell’s passion was woodwork and he tended not to leave any space empty where he could build cabinets, etc.
Russell was married to Edith Winifred MacDonald on September 3, 1988.
Russell is survived by his wife of 31 years, Edith Winifred; son Dean (Tanya) and children: Tysha and Logan; son: William and children: Verna, Lynn, Bill and Zues; stepchildren: David (Carey) MacDonald and their family; Fred MacDonald, Doug MacDonald, Carolyn, Charles, Bryan and Jen and family, and Joanne and Janet MacDonald; siblings: Phyllis Skok and Rick (Marilyn) Malinski and numerous nieces and nephews.
Russell was predeceased by his parents: Francis and Louise Malinski; brother-in-law Anton Skok; stepson John MacDonald; stepdaughter-in-law Dianne MacDonald.
