Obituary for Nellie Isabelle Russell (Gould)
“In gratitude of a long, well lived life, the family of Nellie I Russell, much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, announces her passing on May 2, 2022.
Nellie was one of seven children and was born on the family farm at Zealandia on November 8, 1923.
Predeceased by her husband Gordon, Nellie is survived by her children: Ron, Helen (Lewis) and Gary (Donna) as well as granddaughter Kimberley and Heather (Apollo) and great granddaughter Willow.
Special thanks to the caregivers and residents at Nirvana Assisted Living as well as the nursing staff on the 2nd floor Melfort hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
