Obituary for Mike Freistadt
With heartfelt sadness the family announces the passing of Mike Freistadt on March 1, 2022. He was residing in the Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his sons Kelvin (Trish) and Darcy (Denise); grandchildren Chris (Trisha McCulloch) and Marissa (Darryl Brezinski); great grandchildren Carson and Jaelyn Brezinski, and numerous sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Mike enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren telling many stories. He loved hunting, fishing, curling and old timers’ hockey.
He was predeceased by his wife Betty in 2017, parents Leopold and Helen Freistadt, brother and sister-in-law Louie and Kay Freistadt, sister and brother-in-law Genevieve and Leo Desjarlais, and numerous brothers-in-law on Betty’s side.
Mike will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
At Mike’s request, there will not be a funeral service. He will be interred with his wife Betty at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Melfort.
At Mike's request, no funeral will be held and he will be interred with his wife Betty at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
