Obituary for Marvin Knut Enge

Marvin Knut Enge was born May 22nd, 1942. He was the oldest son of Martin and Julia Enge, and the older brother of Clayton Enge.

Marvin attended school in Fairy Glen which is just east of the family farm. He later went on to work in Prince Albert where he met Terry Brassard. Marvin and Terry married on July 1st, 1967. He worked mostly in trucking and farming as they lived in Melfort, Cranbrook, Calgary and Prince Albert. They moved back to live on the family farm in 1975.

They had two children, Brian in 1978, and Carla in 1980. Marvin and Terry have lived on the farm since moving back and he has always enjoyed spending his time there. Marvin enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, fishing and camping. He took great pride in a job well done and loved spending time with his friends and family. His greatest joy in life came as his grandchildren were born. He watched them grow and would often tell stories about the funny thing one of them told him. In his later years he spent time keeping his yard immaculate and working in the garden with Terry.

Marvin is predeceased by his parents: Martin and Julia Enge, and Terry's parents: Gustave and Angeline Brassard.

Marvin is loved, and will be missed by his wife Terry; his son's family: Brian (Rachel), Cameron and Julia; his daughter's family: Carla (Jeff) and Carson; his brother's family: Clayton (Carlene), Thor; Carole mother of John and Aretha, as well as his constant companion, his loving dog Lucy. He watched them grow and would often tell stories about the funny things they told him.
