Margurerite May Edwards, was born to Alfred and Agnes Underhill on August 30 1925 at Megan, Saskatchewan. She took her schooling at Megan, Hillworth schools. On October 30, 1944 she married Arthur Edwards. They resided on the Edwards family farm where they raised their family of three Sons Keith, Robert and Allan. She worked on the farm and in the bush as a cook at John Livingstone sawmill. She also did home care in Zenon Park. She was an active Legion member and ACW. She enjoyed gardening, curling, snowmobiling, golf, and camping. Visiting with family & friends was the highlight of her life. Her greatest Joy was each new little one joining the family. Sadly in 2000 Dad passed away. In 2004 she Married Pete Bernatchez. They lived on the Bernatchez farm till health reasons saw them move to Melfort. With Mom’s declining health she moved into Parkland Place Care Home on May 5th 2021. With broken hearts we said goodbye to Mom Feb 18th 2022. Mom was predeceased by her first husband Arthur, parents Alfred & Agnes, siblings Fred, Helen & Mary. She is lovingly remembered & sadly missed by her 2nd Husband Pete, Sons Keith (Judi), Bob (Donna), Allan (Terri), Grandchildren Cheryl, Cori, Jason, Cindy (Rob), Gail (Vince), Tammy (Derek), Jeremey (Lisa), and Kristine (Billy), and her Great Grandchildren David, Nicole, Stephanie (Travis), Meghan (Joey), Ashley, Caitlyn (Ben), Julia. Kellie & Brayden, Georgia (Nathan), Lilianne (Kalter), Nikala & Jaxon, Sydnie & Gillian, Great Great Grandchildren Wyatt & Dean, Sawyer.
She is also survived by her nieces, nephews & many friends.
