Obituary for Lyle Bradley

Lyle was born in Melfort hospital and grew up on the family farm near Pleasantdale. Lyle retired on his 65th birthday, but was employed for many years as a Parts & Service Consultant at vehicle dealerships in Nipawin, Saskatoon, Tisdale and Melfort.

Lyle met his wife Lorraine in 1992 and they were married in June 1994. He loved going camping with Lorraine, tinkering in the garage and making keepsakes for his grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and was always busy teasing his grandchildren to make them laugh, and they teased their Papa right back. He loved the outdoors and working in his yard, and if there was a Christmas light contest, you could bet he was trying to win it by decorating his yard full of Christmas ornaments and lights. In the summer, you could usually find him tending to his garden which was always full of vegetables that he generously and proudly shared with everyone. When it was time to relax you could find him cuddled up with his 2 dogs that were very special to him, Tauco & Kalzie.

Lyle was predeceased by his twin brother Lloyd, parents Roy & Hyacinth, sister Cathy, brother in law Cecil, Mother & Father in law Helen & Abe, step daughter Colleen, sister in law Shirley and son in laws Ken & Donnie and pets Benji, Kolby, Tifani & Tango.

Lyle is survived by his wife Lorraine, step children Carla, Shawn (Tracy), Celeste, Lyle, Carmen (Chris), grandchildren Crystal (Preston), Jaci, Scott, Quinn (Chantelle), Tyson (Laura), Lydia (Terra), Carrie (Ryan), Camille, Max; great grandchildren Kenzo, Kian, Karah, Samantha, Aurora, Holden, Luke, Emitt, Riley, Ava, Aizlyn, Asher, brother in law Ted, sister in laws Vera, Anne (Bob), daughter Charissa, grandchildren Gage, Max, siblings Bev (Larry), Brian (Catherine), Shirley, Garth, David (Carol), June (Brian) and many more family, close friends and neighbours.

Lyle’s family would like to thank both the Melfort Hospital and St Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon for the wonderful care he received.

Donations can be made in Lyle’s memory to the Melfort Hospital and St Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
