Larry Olaf Hedlund late of Kinistino passed away at the age of 69. Larry was born November 26, 1950 in Kinistino to Ernest and Laura Hedlund (Haugen). Larry grew up in the Queen Maud District, where he loved his farm as a young boy and always went back on his weekly drives. He moved to Prince Albert with his parents, before moving to Weldon, SK where he made his home for years. He met Anita Danielson and was married on December 10, 1977. They had one child Shawna who they loved and treasured. Shawna married Shawn Leonard on November 7, 1998 and they gave him 2 beautiful grandchildren which Larry loved and cherished.

Larry was a hard worker, he worked combining for farmers across the USA. When he returned home he was employed by the department of highways. Larry was then employed at the Coop in Weldon, where he worked in the back as a mechanics helper. He also worked at Mighty Moe’s in Birch Hills. Larry moved his family to Prince Albert. They were caretakers at Northcote Manor for years, after that they took care of a few more apartment buildings before moving on to another job. This one was in a saw mill around Little Bear Lake. He was there for a couple years. He spent 2 weeks in and one week out then decided that was enough of that.

He then came back to Prince Albert and moved his family to Kinistino. He started working for his father-in-law for years until Folkie retired. He then went on and worked for his son-in-law and he worked there for a while until going to the RM of Kinistino but sooner than you thought, he was back farming.

Larry finally retired and he loved spending time driving around, coffee row at his house with his buddies, but most of all missed the love of his life, Anita.

Larry is survived by: his daughter Shawna Leonard (Brennan LaRoche); grandchildren: Morgan and Jessica Leonard; brothers-in-law: Allan Danielson, Arnold (Janette) Danielson; sister-in-law Annette Time (Steve Scott) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by: his loving wife Anita Hedlund (Danielson); his parents: Ernest and Laura Hedlund (Haugen); his son-in-law Shawn Leonard; his mother-in-law Audrey Berglund; his fathers-in-law: Folkie Berglund, Alfred Danielson and brother-in-law Kent Time.

We all love and miss you... until we met again.
