Obituary for Jonathan James Tschetter

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved dad, husband, grandpa, brother and friend, Jonathan Tschetter. God took a strong pillar from our family. Dad you were the heart of our family, a role model and leader to everyone in the community.
He was born at Riverside Colony, AB. and than moved to Estuary Colony, SK. and than finally to Star City Colony, SK. where he married the love of his life, Rachel, and they were blessed with 6 children. He was carpenter for 7 years and then was elected field boss. He faithfully dedicated his all to his work for 33 years. Through trials and hardships Dad’s faith was tested and tried. He remained faithful to the end.
Dad was always there for us. He had a quiet nature and his love for us and his grandchildren was shown in many small ways. We will never forget you, Dad, and our memories and love will remain forever in our hearts. Dad, you left behind many touched hearts, a strong legacy, a strong faith, along with a certain hope that we will meet again someday in eternity. Where God will wipe away all the tears from our eyes and say “Well Done, thou good and faithful servant. Welcome Home!”
Left to mourn his passing and cherish his life:
his beloved wife Rachel and children.
