Jean Payne died at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK on May 10, 2022 with family at her side at the age of 93.
Jean Elizabeth Mildred Payne was born on May 20, 1928 to Austin and Reinna Sly in Star City, SK.
Jean married Aubrey Payne on January 23, 1947 and they farmed in the Norwood District until they retired to Star City in 1976.
Jean moved to Caskey Place in Melfort, SK in January of 2016 where she resided until her death.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Aubrey in 2018.
Jean is survived by two children: Dorothy (Bob) Willman and Raymond Payne; two grandchildren: Sherri (Louis) Vachon and Robby Willman; four great grandchildren: Janelle (Eric) Lach, Albert Vachon, Natalie Vachon (Jacob Thacker) and Marc Vachon.
A Private family service will be held at a later date.
