Gordon Edward Reiter was born on April 27, 1937 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan to Larry and Rose Reiter. Gordon was the eldest for three children, he has two sisters, Darlene Garchinski (Reiter) and Diana Garchinski (Reiter). Gordon lived his early years in the town of Lake Lenore and after high school he moved to British Columbia. Gordon returned home in his early twenties due to mental health issues. Over the course of his life he lived in many care homes.
On December 23, 2019, Gordon was called home by our heavenly Father. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose Reiter (Zenner), his father Larry Reiter, brother-in-law Robert Garchinski and brother-in-law Peter Garchinski.
We are thankful for the life of Gordon. His time here on earth was a lesson for us all. God calls us to be servants. All the people that have worked with Gordon over the course of his life did exactly that, they served their brother and his needs.
