Dixie Lynne Jewell
January 3, 1952 to October 22, 2020
Dixie was born in Calgary, Alberta to Evelyn and Albert Jewell. She had four children Lori, Brenda, Wendy & Gordon. She raised her children on the family farm in the Hythe area, where she and her family raised quarter horses. Her passions were horses, art and music. Dixie moved to Saskatchewan with her partner and best friend Arthur Moody in 2016, where she made lots of new friends.
Dixie passed away peacefully at home in Melfort on October 22, 2020 at the age of 68.
She will be dearly missed and remembered by her children:
Lori (Louis), Brenda (Richard), Wendy (Mike) & Gordie.
Grandchildren: Oran, CJ, Chance (Brittany), Catlin (Nancy), Danyka, Jessyka, Emery and Cameron.
Great Grandchildren: Jagger & Kierra
Her best friend and partner Arthur Moody.
As well as many Nieces, Nephews, friends and in-laws.
Dixie was predeceased by her parents Albert & Evelyn Jewell, brothers Frank and Ronald Jewell, Niece Tammy Jewell, Nephew Richard Ronald Jewell and Niece Tyr Autumn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
