Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Gale Duguay announce her sudden passing on Monday, June 20th 2020 at the age of 79.

Diane will be missed by her husband Pierre of 57 years and her sons: Michael (Kelly), Don (Sherry) and John, as well as her brother George Wooden (Sandra). Grandma will also be missed by her three grandchildren: Rya, Aislinn and Blair and also by her Great Grandson Oliver, she will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and friends for her amazing sense of humor and love of life.

Diane is predeceased by her parents: George and Mildred Wooden and her sister Wendy Emberly (Mike).

Diane was an active member of the local Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Woman’s League. Diane was also a member of the local Northern Lights Quilters Guild where she and her friends quilted many quilts for a number of charities around the local area.

In her younger years she was an avid curler and Bonspieler, she enjoyed her years at her cottage with family and friends. Diane’s life was spent mostly in Northern Ontario and lately Saskatchewan, but her heart has always been in Nova Scotia where she was born and raised. Her passion was her grandchildren and great grandchild and quilting with her friends and of course being a loving wife & best friend for 57 years with Pierre.
