Obituary

David Arthur Nagy was born January 1st, 1955 to Arthur and Mary Nagy. He was the third of five children. David grew up around the family farm in Mistatim. He went to school in Mistatim until 1971 when he went to Kinistino to play hockey for the Tiger Bruins and finish his high school education.
David and Joan were married July 29th, 1978 at the Catholic church in Landis, Saskatchewan. They were blessed with three children: Tyrell, Jordan, and Megan. They worked hand in hand to build a life together.
Family was very important to David and he took pride in watching his children grow. Although he never got to spend much time with his grandson, Archer, he loved him dearly.
David took his career as a farmer seriously and loved watching his crops grow. He strived to be the first one done seeding and harvesting each year.
In his free time, David enjoyed the outdoors: fishing and hunting with his sons and close friends. He also liked talking politics in the coffee shop. Later in life, he took up golfing and played many rounds in Arizona and Melfort.
David was predeceased by his father Arthur Nagy, in-laws Walter and Anne Suter, and brother-in-law Bill Suter.
David will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Joan, his children and grandson: Tyrell, Jordan (Katrine, Archer), Megan, his mother Mary, sister Sylvia, brothers: Robert (Barbara), Barry (Linda), Philip, and in-laws: Linda (Larry), Pat (Donna), Patricia (Ron), Susan (Tim), Boyd (Laura), Craig (Marj), Arleen (Ron) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
